സാമ്പത്തിക രംഗത്തും മോദിയുടെ അട്ടിമറി; റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ രാജിവെച്ചു

ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാറുമായുള്ള അഭിപ്രായ ഭിന്നതയെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആര്‍.ബി.ഐ ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ ഊര്‍ജിത് പട്ടേല്‍ രാജിവെച്ചു. വ്യക്തിപരമായ കാരണങ്ങളാല്‍ രാജിവെക്കുന്നു എന്നാണ് ഊര്‍ജിത് പട്ടേല്‍ രാജിക്കത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ ഏറെക്കാലമായി നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്ന കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാറുമായുള്ള വിയോജിപ്പുകളാണ് രാജിയില്‍ കലാശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

നോട്ട് നിരോധനമടക്കം കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാറിന്റെ തലതിരിഞ്ഞ സാമ്പത്തിക നടപടികള്‍ റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്കിനെ നോക്കുകുത്തിയാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇതില്‍ റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ക്ക് അതൃപ്തിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ അത് പരസ്യമായി പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥയിലായിരുന്നു. നോട്ട് നിരോധന കാലഘട്ടത്തില്‍ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരെ കാണാതെ പൊതുപരിപാടികള്‍ക്കിടെ ഒളിച്ചുനടക്കേണ്ട ഗതികേടിലായിരുന്നു റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് ഗവര്‍ണര്‍.
