നേരത്തെ സ്‌കൂള്‍ കലോത്സവത്തില്‍ ഫലസ്തീന്‍ ജനതയുടെ ദുരിതം വിഷയമാക്കിയുള്ള മൈം തടഞ്ഞത് വിവാദമായിരുന്നു. കുമ്പള ഗവ. ഹയര്‍ സെക്കന്‍ഡറി സ്‌കൂളിലായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. പിന്നീട് വിദ്യഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് വിഷയത്തില്‍ ഇടപെടുകയും മൈം അതേ വേദിയില്‍ വീണ്ടും അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. സംഘ്പരിവാര്‍ അനുകൂല ദേശീയ അധ്യാപക പരിഷത്ത് അംഗം പ്രദീപ് കുമാര്‍, സുപ്രീത് എന്നിവര്‍ക്ക് പിന്തുണയുമായി യുവമോര്‍ച്ച സ്‌കൂളിലേക്ക് മാര്‍ച്ച് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
