പതിനെട്ടായിരത്തിലധികം കുട്ടികള്‍ അടക്കം 71000 ഫലസ്തീനികളാണ് ഗസ്സ വംശഹത്യയില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്.  22 ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വരുന്ന ഗസ്സയിലെ ജനസംഖ്യയില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ഗസ്സ വംശഹത്യയില്‍ അഭയാര്‍ഥികളായിരുന്നു.

കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻ്റെ പുതിയ വിലയിരുത്തൽ പ്രകാരം 2011 നെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് 2036 ൽ 15 വയസിൽ താഴെ പ്രായമുള്ളവരുടെ എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറവുണ്ടാകും. എന്നാൽ 60 വയസിന് മേലെ പ്രായമുള്ളവരാകും രാജ്യത്ത് ഏറെയും. രാജ്യത്ത് ശിശുമരണ നിരക്കിലും വലിയ കുറവുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2015 ൽ ശിശുമരണ നിരക്ക് 43 ആയിരുന്നത് 2020 ൽ 32 ആയി കുറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്.

തൊഴിൽ ശക്തിയുടെ വളർച്ചയിൽ രാജ്യത്ത് സ്ത്രീകളും പുരുഷന്‍മാരും ഒരേപോലെ പങ്കാളികളാവുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും റിപ്പോർട്ട് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. 2017-18 കാലത്ത് 75.8 ശതമാനമായിരുന്നു രാജ്യത്ത് തൊഴിലെടുക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ എണ്ണം. അത് 2022-23 കാലത്ത് 78.5 ആയി. സ്ത്രീകളുടെ എണ്ണം ഇതേ കാലയളവിൽ 23.3 ശതമാനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 37 ശതമാനമായി ഉയർന്നു.

ജനസംഖ്യ ഉയരുന്തോറും അവകാശങ്ങള്‍ വര്‍ധിക്കും. ഇതാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതിജ്ഞയെന്നും രാഹുല്‍ എക്‌സിലൂടെ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ബിഹാറില്‍ നടത്തിയ ജാതി സെന്‍സസിന്റെ കണക്കുകള്‍ സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പുറത്തുവിട്ടതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് രാഹുലിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം.

ബിഹാറിലെ ജാതി സെന്‍സസ് പ്രകാരം ഒ.ബി.സി, പട്ടിക ജാതി, പട്ടിക വര്‍ഗം എന്നീ വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ കൂടി 84 ശതമാനം വരും. കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാറിലെ 90 സെക്രട്ടറിമാരില്‍ മൂന്നു പേര്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ഒ.ബി.സി വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ബജറ്റിന്റെ അഞ്ച് ശതമാനം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഇവരാണെന്നും രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.

38 ജില്ലകളിലായി വ്യാപിച്ചു കിടക്കുന്ന ബിഹാറിലെ ആകെ ജനസംഖ്യ 13.07 കോടിയാണ്. ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ 63.12 ശതമാനവും അതിപിന്നാക്കപിന്നാക്ക വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ഒ.ബി.സി വിഭാഗക്കാരാണ്. ഇതില്‍ 14.27 ശതമാനം യാദവരാണ്. ഭൂമിഹാര്‍ 2.86 ശതമാനം, ബ്രാഹ്മണര്‍ 3.66 ശതമാനം, മുശാഹര്‍ മൂന്ന് ശതമാനം എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് സെന്‍സെസ് പ്രകാരമുള്ള കണക്ക്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഹിന്ദു മതവിശ്വാസികള്‍ 81.9986 ശതമാനമാണ്. മുസ്!ലിം 17.70 ശതമാനം, ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികള്‍ 0.0576, സിഖ് 0.0113, ബുദ്ധര്‍ 0.0851 ശതമാനം, ജൈനര്‍ 0.0096 ശതമാനം എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് ബാക്കി സമുദായക്കാരുടെ കണക്ക്.

ജനസംഖ്യയില്‍ 63 ശതമാനവും 30 വയസ്സിനുതാഴെയുള്ളവരാണ്.
സാമ്പത്തിക-ആസൂത്രണ വിഭാഗം മന്ത്രി ഫൈസല്‍ അല്‍ ഇബ്രാഹിം റിയാദില്‍ നടത്തിയ വാര്‍ത്താ സമ്മേളനത്തിലാണ് ജനസംഖ്യാ സംബന്ധമായ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചത്.

പട്ടികയില്‍നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക് പിന്നീട് തടസവാദങ്ങളുന്നയിക്കാനവസരം നല്‍കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 30 മുതല്‍ സപ്തംബര്‍ 28 വരെ ഇതിനുള്ള സമയമായിരിക്കുമെന്നും സൈലേഷ് പറഞ്ഞു.

അതിര്‍ത്തി സംസ്ഥാനമായ അസമില്‍ ബംഗ്ലാദേശില്‍ നിന്നും മറ്റ് അയല്‍രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും വ്യാപകമായ അനധികൃത കുടിയേറ്റങ്ങളുണ്ടെന്നും ഇത് വന്‍ പ്രത്യാഘാദങ്ങളുണ്ടാക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നുമാണ് കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പറയുന്നത്. ഇത്തരം അനധികൃത കുടിയേറ്റം തടയുന്നതിന് നിലവിലെ പൗരന്മാരുടെ കൃത്യമായ കണക്കുകള്‍ വേണമെന്നാണ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിലപാട്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ പൊതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ബിജെപിയുടെ പ്രകടനപത്രികയിലും ഇത് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. 3.2 കോടിയാണ് അസമിലെ ജനസഖ്യ എന്നു പറയുന്ന പട്ടിക 2.89 കോടി പേര്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പൗരത്വത്തിന് അര്‍ഹതയുള്ളവര്‍ എന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. പൗരന്‍മാരുടെ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഒരേ ഒരു സംസ്ഥാനമാണ് അസം. തൊട്ടടുത്ത രാജ്യമായ ബംഗ്ലാദേശില്‍ നിന്നും മുസ്ലീങ്ങള്‍ അനധികൃതമായി കുടിയേറി തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ വോട്ടവകാശം വിനിയോഗിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും ഇത് ജനസംഖ്യാ സംതുലിതാവസ്ഥയെ തന്നെ അട്ടിമറിക്കുന്നുവെന്നുമാണ് ആരോപണം.
