പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ കുടുംബം നൽകിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് അധ്യാപികയെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. പതിനേഴുകാരിയായ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ട്യൂഷൻ അധ്യാപിക പീഡിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ പരാതി. എന്നാൽ പെൺകുട്ടി സ്വന്തം ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം തനിക്കൊപ്പം വന്നതാണെന്നാണ് അധ്യാപിക പറയുന്നത്.

സമാന കേസിൽ അധ്യാപികയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ പൊലീസ് കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഈ കേസിന്റെ അന്വേഷണത്തിനിടെ അധ്യാപികയെ കാണാതാവുകയായിരുന്നു. അതിനിടെയാണ് മറ്റൊരു കേസിൽ അധ്യാപിക അറസ്റ്റിലാകുന്നത്.
