വാഷിങ്ടണ്‍: അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ആഞ്ഞുവീശിയ ഫ്‌ളോറന്‍സ് ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റില്‍ മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം എട്ടായി. കാറ്റിന്റെ പ്രഹരശേഷി കുറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഭീഷണി ഒഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. ഫ്‌ളോറന്‍സിന്റെ പ്രഭാവത്തില്‍ നോര്‍ത്ത് കരോലിനയിലും സൗത്ത് കരോലിനിയിലും കനത്ത മഴ തുടരുകയാണ്. മണിക്കൂറില്‍ 80 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ വേഗതയിലുള്ള കാറ്റിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് 40 സെന്റി മീറ്റര്‍ അധികം മഴ പെയ്തു. ഫ്‌ളോറന്‍സിന്റെ വേഗത കുറഞ്ഞെടങ്കിലും ആശ്വസിക്കാന്‍ സമയമായിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് നോര്‍ത്ത് കരോലിന ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ റോയ് കൂപ്പര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
