ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: ബഹിരാകാശ ഗവേഷണരംഗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യ വന്‍ നേട്ടം കൈവരിച്ചെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി. ഭ്രമണം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഉപഗ്രഹത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന ഉപഗ്രഹവേധ മിസൈല്‍ ഇന്ത്യ വികസിപ്പിച്ചെന്നാണ് മോദി വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്.
ഈ നേട്ടം കൈവരിക്കുന്ന നാലാമത്തെ രാജ്യമാണ് ഇന്ത്യയെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഉപഗ്രഹത്തെ ആക്രമിച്ച് വീഴ്ത്തുന്നതില്‍ ഇന്ത്യ വിജയിച്ചു. മൂന്ന് മിനിറ്റ് കൊണ്ടാണ് ഒരു ഉപഗ്രഹത്തെ ഇന്ത്യ ആക്രമിച്ച് വീഴ്ത്തിയത്. ചാരപ്രവൃത്തിക്കായി ഇന്ത്യക്ക് മേല്‍ നിരീക്ഷണം നടത്തിയാല്‍ ആ ഉപഗ്രഹത്തെ ഇന്ത്യക്ക് ആക്രമിച്ച് വീഴത്താന്‍ പുതിയ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ സഹായിക്കുമെന്നും മോദി പറഞ്ഞു.
